The District Attorney’s Office is responsible for enforcing Pennsylvania’s criminal laws fairly, justly and ethically. The District Attorney’s Office also must champion the rights of victims and survivors of crimes – many who bravely testify in court about horrific and traumatic things that a criminal defendant or defendants have inflicted on them. This is neither the experience nor the belief of Mr. Krasner, whose law firm website advertises about defending rapists and child sex offenders. Where his website states,
“Many of those cases have resulted in complete acquittals, probationary sentences with no sex offender registration, or eventual dismissal due to the defendant’s limited mental capacity or for other reasons.”
Mr. Krasner has no experience advocating for victims of crime. Everyone is entitled to the most effective criminal defense possible – that is our system. But when a District Attorney candidate has spent his 30-year career convincing juries that his clients are being victimized by the actual victim, you must ask yourself, “Is this who I want as our District Attorney?” This answer is simple: No.
